Whitney Castle
Whitney Castle did not let age or a busy work and family schedule serve as barriers from reaching her goals. After 11 years as a second-grade teacher, Castle sought to help people in a different way and decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse. In May 2024, she earned an Associate in Applied Science in nursing from Triton College and shortly thereafter passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) Licensing Exam, making her an official registered nurse (RN).
“Triton helped make my dream of becoming a nurse a reality,” she said. “With flexible class schedules, affordable tuition, and state-of-the-art labs and classrooms, I’m now able to bring high-quality compassionate health care to my future patients.”
Castle said receiving her nursing degree from Triton College made her realize that anyone can make a career change, and grow both personally and professionally. Triton College empowers success among its students in life-changing ways. “Follow your passion and let Triton College take you there,” said Castle. View her story here.
